Bryan Public Library Book Sale reaches final week

By DAVID SMITH Daily Times Leader

The Bryan Public Library's annual book sale is almost over, and it ends on September 30. Starting on Monday, customers may come in and pick up a "grab bag" and fill it up with books for only $5. This is an outstanding way to support the library, as everything at the book sale must go!

Speaking with a member of the library's team, Jayme Evans, the Youth Services Librarian, this sale plays a major role for the library, and is a great chance for people to get a book, or many books, for themselves.

"There is something for everyone at the book sale," Evans said. "We have hardbacks, non-fiction, fiction, paperbacks, everything. We even have movies and DVDs. We actually have a few VHS tapes as well, if that's something someone is looking for."

As stated, there are a variety of options to fit anyone and everyone in what they are looking for. All proceeds will support the Bryan Public Library, to assist them in placing new books in the library, as well as other areas to keep the library moving forward.

"Your shopping definitely goes a long way for the library, trust me," Evans said.

The Bryan Public Library is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. This is a fantastic opportunity to support our local library, as well as getting an incredible deal on some books. Once again, all of the money spent at the book sale goes towards the library and assists them in providing the people with such amazing amenities. The sale runs until the end of this week, and it is more than worth stopping by.

"Everything goes on September 30, so make sure you get in and get what you want because stuff is going fast," Evans said.
